Mid-Week Plans For Live Music? Think Inside The Box

Box Office Breakdown: The Dark Knight Fights Off the Mummy

It was a close one. A very close one. But after a tight contest, The Dark Knight once again emerged as the box office winner this weekend. The film, which grossed $40.4 million over the past three days, narrowly lost out to Knight and wound up being the lowest performer in its series. (The Mummy opened at $43.4 million in 1999 while The Mummy Ret

On Rewrites, Tornados and A Few of My Favorite Things

In honor of my trying to keep positive in the face of perpetual adversity, I have decided to rewrite one of the most disgustingly optimistic songs in the history of music to suit my own needs. It pains me to be so cheery, but Ive got to do something to combat that which fate is dealing me these days. Not that things are that awful, mind you. Its just that getting back into the dating game has been devastatingly painful at best. And Im starting to feel stagnation creep into my life, which i

Your PC Is An Awesome Singer If You Let It!

As an amateur songwriter, who struggles with a computer far from powerful enough to run the necessary software to record vocals of good quality, I have looked for good solutions. And Ive found a few. In a short while you will hear songs that are totally computer made including the vocals. Yamaha made the technology, and licensed it to various companies. Vocaloid is the name remember it if you like music! I have had the pleasure of testing Leon, the Virtual Soul Vocalist, from www.zero-g
